Who better to be the face of the brand other than our number one eco-warrior - and all-round babe - Lucie Donlan? Drop-dead gorgeous with a clear conscience, we couldn’t think of anyone more fitting. Here’s what she had to say about the collection.

You look AMAZING in this collection. What made you want to get involved with Knickerbox Planet?
It’s just a perfect fit for me. My lifestyle, and my love of nature and the world, work really well with the collection. It’s sustainable, it’s recycled, from the packaging, to the lace that the underwear is made with, and that’s 100% what I’m about. I couldn’t believe it when they told me about it, then actually receiving it and trying it on - the fit is so good. It’s hard for me to find bras that fits all round, as I have quite a big bust, so I’m always quite picky with what I wear, but that’s why this range is so amazing. The bra top has a hidden underwire so it supports bigger busted girls like me - I love the fact that it’s very natural looking lingerie, but has so much support.

How would you describe the collection?
Very natural, very feminine, the fit is amazing and it’s so comfortable. And I love that the tagline is ‘be bad, do good’, that is so cool!

What does wearing great underwear do to your mood?
Good underwear is my go-to to make me feel good about myself. You really don’t have to be with anyone to wear sexy underwear, putting a nice bra top underneath your outfit will make you feel a lot more confident, whatever you’re doing. And especially with this range, when wearing it, you know that you’re doing something good for the environment. Put it on for you, to make yourself feel amazing.

Are you excited to be able to show your pictures of the collection to everybody?
I can’t wait! I love working with brands that fit my lifestyle and what I’m about. I’m always at the beach, outdoors and in nature, and this is perfect for me. But I’m as excited to share the story behind the brand as the collection itself, I’d never heard of eco-friendly lingerie before, especially on the high street.

What steps are you personally taking to live more sustainably?
Being a surfer, I know how much plastic affects the ocean and I’ve seen such horrible things on the beaches. I walk across the beach every day and there are so many micro-plastics washing up, which fish and seals eat accidentally. It’s horrible to see, so anything I can to be more sustainable, even the smallest things, I’ll do. I use recycled make-up wipes, but even just taking your own bags to the supermarket helps. We want the world to last forever, so there are lots of little things you can do to help

Who’s your sustainability hero?
My parents - they brought me up in a way where you wouldn’t even question recycling. It’s just a way of life.

What do you think about Maura’s range for Ann Summers?
She’s so sassy and sexy and that’s why I love her range - it really does make you feel more confident. The tag line is ‘Be More Maura’, and when you wear it, you really do feel sexy and confident, like she always is. And it’s so nice to be able to support one of my best friends. She is amazing, I really do look up to her.
